Kim Kardashian brought a little piece of Princess Diana’s personal style to the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala on November 2, but we’re not talking about her hairstyle. Though Kardashian has long been a fan of a great bob, her short hairstyle was far more Kim K than classic Di.
Kardashian famously bought the late Princess’s antique amethyst Attallah Cross pendant at auction in 2023 and brought it out for the star-studded gala, though she skipped the fluffy short coiffure that Diana made famous in favor of a modern flipped-out bob with a swooped, C-shaped bang hugging one side of her forehead. Kardashian’s go-to hairstylist Chris Appleton started with a deep side part and blew the hair out smooth, then added Bellami hair extensions for volume and cut to shoulder length. Appleton flipped out the ends of Kardashian’s hair with a 1 ¼” curling iron and finished with shine spray. For the bangs, he curled them into that moon-shaped curl and placed them on her forehead, then sprayed to hold.
