Osun Govt Collaborates with Auto Firms for State Security

Addressing Vehicle Maintenance and Insecurity in Osun State

In a recent development, the Chief Executive Officer of Car-Rankings, Mr Kayode Dagiloke, has announced plans for a partnership with the government of Osun State. This collaboration aims to leverage the company’s vehicles to address issues of insecurity within the state. The announcement was made during an automobile exhibition held at Car-Rankings, a subsidiary of Mikano International, in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State.

Dagiloke emphasized that the company is committed to providing automotive solutions tailored to the immediate needs of the people in Osun. His vision includes making power generation and efficient transportation accessible to a broader segment of the population. To achieve this, Car-Rankings is offering flexible payment plans, ensuring that more individuals can benefit from their services.

One of the key points raised by Dagiloke was the importance of vehicle maintenance. He highlighted that poor maintenance standards have been a significant challenge in Osun State. According to him, the company has implemented a proactive routine standard check for all vehicles that come into their workshops. This ensures that every car undergoes thorough inspection before being returned to its owner.

Additionally, Car-Rankings regularly reviews and updates the training provided to its technicians. Dagiloke believes that if these practices are adopted as a standard requirement in all workshops, the issue of poor vehicle maintenance could be significantly reduced. He stressed the need for a cultural shift towards better maintenance practices among vehicle owners and service providers.

The CEO also mentioned that the state government has shown strong support for Car-Rankings. He noted that the government has already begun patronizing the company’s services and is preparing to use their vehicles for the security department. This move is expected to enhance the efficiency of law enforcement in the region.

Another key figure in the discussion was Oluwaseun Oke, the dealership network manager at Mikano Motors, Pan-Nigeria. Oke provided insights into the performance of Changan vehicles, which are currently ranked highly among Chinese car brands. He highlighted that these vehicles come with a two-year warranty covering up to 600,000 kilometers, a feature that sets them apart from other competitors in the Nigerian market.

Oke emphasized that the reliability and durability of Changan vehicles make them a preferred choice for consumers. He also pointed out that the company is continuously working to improve customer satisfaction through after-sales services and support.

The potential partnership between Car-Rankings and the Osun State government represents a step towards addressing both vehicular insecurity and maintenance challenges. By combining innovative automotive solutions with a focus on quality and accessibility, the initiative aims to create a safer and more reliable transport environment for residents.

As the project moves forward, it will be important to monitor how effectively the partnership addresses the underlying issues in the automotive sector. With a commitment to excellence and customer care, Car-Rankings and its partners are well-positioned to make a meaningful impact in Osun State.
